We had a booking for 10 people at 7pm and arrived 10 minutes early. I had called and confirmed my booking on the day but when we arrived they didn’t have a table setup for us. We finally got a table for 10 at about 7:15pm. The rest of our experience has been excellent. Food was served on time, portions was more than generous and delicious. The staff were friendly and provided good service. What started out as a bad experience, ended on a high note.
Great place to eat! The food was delicious and well-presented, and the service was excellent. I was a bit worried when the waiter took our big order without writing anything down, but then he recited it back without a problem and everything came out - impressive memory! We had a really good meal here, and will definitely be back again.
3.5⭐️- A reasonable value meal, tasty Malaysian style food and friendly service. We had a selection of dishes and tried their pork and prawn dumplings. All the dishes had nice flavours but the mains were bit overloaded with onions (I guess to fill the dish). The Dumplings and prawn toast were both nice. Chicken satay were very nice.
Table service was friendly but not so attentive- took me 10minutes to get someone’s attention to order some additional dishes and get the table cleaned.
NOTE: They don’t have much of an alcohol selection - just beers and a few wine options
All and all a reasonable meal.
We ordered the mix entree for two, seafood laksa, penang char kwey teow and the caramel custard.
The food was absolutely delicious and quite authentic, I would highly recommend.
The service was very friendly, accommodating, helpful and extremely nice.
Food came out quick, the atmosphere was relaxed and pleasant.
Overall a very enjoyable experience.
Went to this place for dinner, we ordered creamy butter chicken, sizzling pork belly and rock salted squid for entree. I was extremely disappointed with the main dishes. First of all, malaysian creamy butter chicken should be as advertised which is creamy and saucy. We were served fried pieces of chicken with DRIZZLED “creamy!” butter sauce. It was literally drizzled and not the typical malaysian butter chicken - it was almost $26 for pieces of fried chicken with minimal drizzling sauce. I asked the staff and they said they’ve changed the menu, and apparently management has changed too so not entirely sure if the chefs have changed? the food should be as advertised, especially when you’re going to a malaysian place to eat malaysian dishes. Secondly, sizzling pork was average. We paid 3 dishes for around $85+ so for the price of malaysian dishes and the quality that we good, it’s actually a disappointment. The mixed salad that comes with our calamari has a big stinging needle plant, and we told the staff about it but they didn’t knew what it was - fair enough as it comes from mixed salad package but probably best to check next time when serving the salad to customers.
The food tastes great! My favourite dish is Mongolian Tofu. I can't eat spicy but I like the Kangkong Belachan. Highly recommended!
AWESOME! They are so nice. service and food were so great. We had a great time there and were so full right now:)
Just had the Laksa and Nasi Goreng .. got to be the best in Canberra… I was surprised there weren’t more people in the shop
